Selecting the photograph:
The photograph must be clear and sharp and person's eyes must be visible. If the subject is in the shadows or the photo is too washed out or blurry, I will not be able to draw the portrait. If glasses are worn in photo, make sure there is not too much glare from lenses.

After choosing the photograph:
Send me your photograph. The easiest way to get the photo to me is to upload it to your computer and send it to me as an email attachment. It must be in the form of a .jpg file and resolution should be 1280 x 1024 or higher. It should also be a file that I can download and manipulate.

When I receive your request, I will email you back as to whether I feel it is drawable and any questions about the context of the drawing. How soon I can complete your drawing depends on my workload. It can be between two to six weeks and please note I do not make "rush deliveries".

Upon completion, you will be sent a preview of your portrait via email. You will have an opportunity to make suggestions, but please keep in mind, I strive to capture the best likeness I can from your photos and depending on the quality of the photos, the results may vary. Each drawing is a work of art and my interpretation of your photo.

After receiving the payment plus shipping charges, your portrait will then be sprayed with a fixative to prevent smudging before shipping. Any photos that have been mailed to me will be returned with your portrait.
